ECO HOUSE, BRAZIL
Eco House in Sao Paulo was the first completely sustainable event location in Brazil. The building has been rebuilt using organic and sustainable materials throughout, and a number of creative sustainable ideas have been integrated into its design. Some of these inventive features are the re-use of water via a special purification installation, a pizza oven made out of termite clay and the installation of the Sustainable Dance Floor.
The SDF is integrated into the ground floor of the venue in a customized diamond shape. Nine modules have been installed to fit flush with level of the entrance. Space was made for the SDF cables with holes left in the concrete and a special drainage system was designed to ensure that cleaning water does not cause any problems.
