'Clubs in Cans' touring around Australia.

In September 2009 SDC installed a permanent version of the Sustainable Dance Floor in Miami's Science Museum. 25 modules are now capturing visitor energy and converting it into electricity that is used to power the music and lighting. Visitors can select their favourite music and experiment to find the genre that generates the most electricity. Individuals can even connect their own I-Pod.

SDC developed a unique energy exhibit for the Welios Science Centre. The brief was to create an interactive and fun, high tech installation that educates youngsters about energy and electricity. How much exercise must I do to burn the calories contained in a Mars bar? How hard do I have to jump and dance to power a LED light bulb?

The Australian museum opened a new exhibition called 'Climate Change: Our Future, Our Choice'. The exhibition takes a look at some humorous and some more serious results to the choices we must make in this decade. The audience will be informed, challenged and surprised by objects, interactive games, graphics and audio-visual projections to interpret the climate-altered futures.

Eco House in Sao Paulo was the first completely sustainable event location in Brazil. The building has been rebuilt using organic and sustainable materials throughout, and a number of creative sustainable ideas have been integrated into its design. Some of these inventive features are the re-use of water via a special purification installation, a pizza oven made out of termite clay and the installation of the Sustainable Dance Floor.

The location of Club WATT in Rotterdam had been closed for two years when entrepreneurs decided to renovate the building as a new music venue. To help meet the city of Rotterdam's targets to cut 50% CO2 emissions by 50% by 2025, they took on the challenge of building the first Sustainable Dance Club™.

An innovative city with innovative leaders, Toulouse, in the Southwest of France is a city of students and a centre for culture and cutting-edge technology. The deputy mayor, Alexandre Marciel, is in charge of the sustainable development of the city and is convinced that the movement of people could be harnessed to power streetlights. Marciel got in touch with Sustainable Dance Club and together we started the revolutionary project "pavement power"; generating electricity for street lights using the up and down movement of passing pedestrians.

Sustainable Dance Floor was the main attraction at Google After Hours party during World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Dutch celebrities dancing on the Dance Floor to support the 3FM Serious Request for the Red Cross. 

The new electric car of Toyota was presented on our floor. After the presentation, the floor moved to the dance location and was the main attraction of the big party afterwards. Germany certainly knows how to make a party!

We were invited to be part of the south eastern european music event in Sofia Bulgaria. 

Proud to be part of the TEDX youth convention in Amsterdam. 

The world famous company Saatchi & Saatchi placed our dance floor by commision of Voltarol in the Westfield Shopping centre in London. The visitors of the shopping centre where able to activate a hologram by dancing on the floor. Pretty cool!

SDC placed a dance floor made of 64 modules to the Essent Staff party in Studio 22 in Hilversum.

A 16 modules big dancefloor will appear in an episode of the worldfamous Disney kids. These talented kids where challanged to provide as much energy as possible for the good cause!

During a networkconvention of German accountants, we where allowed to present our floor as an inspiration platform. 

Skoda integrated our sustainable dance floor in their exposition in Paris. During this exposition they presented their new Octavia green e-line car. This car was placed in front of our floor. A group of enthousiastic dancers where charging the car 3 times a day with a great danceshow.

Because of their 50 year anniversary, Rittal organized a big party for its employees. In a large arena named after Rittal, the audience could enjoy the entire day of shows and acts.

The first mini-club installed abroard! This time in Jakarta. Commissioned by Coca-Cola we build, shipped and installed a complete mini club in Indonesia

The city of Erfurt in Germany was celebrating their 50th Lichterfest in Egapark Erfurt.
We were joining the party with a 36 modules big dancefloor. All the 22.000 visitors where able to experience our floor. 

Maxi Gilbert. Nokia presented the first Christmas tree ever powered by human power. Provided by dancing people of Madrid on our 64 modules big floor inside the Nokia pavilion on the big centre square

7events commissioned by Heineken. Situated on an amazing spot in centre of lisboa, 7events put down a floor of 32 modules for a booming party from sundown to sunset.

Eco-Charge. We installed for the period of one week two different floors excisting out of 8 and 32 modules for te enthousiastic fans of Stoke on trent and Manchester city. They battled each other both on the field as on our floor.

We were part of a private part of the B Braun medical team in Paris. Located on a Island employees from Braun where able to expierence the dance floor

During the final of ROC the game, our dance floor was used as a mainstage and inspiration platform

Horizont commissioned by Skoda. For the 2nd time we where present @ the Skoda stand during an international Car expo. On a 25 modules big floor, they presented their Skoda Green E-Line car. The first electric car charged by human power in China.

Kogag commissioned by LG LG used a red carpet made out 16 of our modules during their road show for dealers in Germany. What a way to enter your exhibition.

As a surprise a 16 modules big floor showed up during the dinner party of the SPREAD 2050 convention, where many cool and innovative future green solutions were presented. Big fun and a lot of energy!

The anniversary of Enviu, one of the founders of SDC, was celebrated in yourspace in Rotterdam with a big 24 moduled floor!

Nihirest Science centre. Our 2nd installation of a mini club. This time on the other side of the world. The mini club is one of the main attractions of the Nihirest science centre in Trinidad and Tobego

The SDC promo film (SDF XL) was invited to be featured at this festival. To compensate the used energy during a film festival, the organisation tried to give some energy back! We installed a 30 modules big dancefloor in Lausanne, so people could dance back some energy they spoiled by waching movies. Great idea! Great event!

In cooperation with our founders from enviu we where present at the socap event at the end of May 2011. Visitors where able to try our dancefloor and capture themselves forever by activating the camera with their own energy

SDC was present at the network convention Nudgelive

During the car free sunday in Leiden our floor was installed on the market square in the middle of the centre of Leiden. In cooperation with the local Fitness school,  the floor was used as a fitness application. 

Hamburg city is the green capital of 2011. The opening of this yeas was celebrate with a big show on a big floor! 36 modules and a special customized LED energy meter. And we got the party started!

First time we used our new photo feauture, with a floor excisting out of 8 modules. Great party with a lof of positive responds

Temple nightclub. The first and biggest Sustainable nightclub in San Francisco hired our floor for a big booming party! Big succes because eventually they purchased the floor!

De Kuip. During the supportersday of Feyenoord, the fans were able to dance on a floor excisting out of 32 modules. More energy for your team!

Eco-Charge. SDC installed a green carpet from 8 modules and a camera during the prestigious PEA awards in London in the National Geograpigh store.

Ecomind. In cooperation with Enviu, we presented our floor on a convention for supporting local sustainable entrepeneurs.

During an international convention about sustainalbility our floor was installed to be the stage where the speakers were standing on.

During a party for the staff of Eurostar, people where invited to fancy a dance on our floor. 8 modules and a energymeter was enough to get the party started!

Own production. The first edition of our own energy-party. Amsterdam had the honer to  experience and have a energy party for the first time. A floor excisting out of 24 modules was installed in Bitterzoet. 

2nd edition of our own party this time in Haarlem. A big floor from 5 x 5m and a customized energy meter made this party rocking!

We installed 8 modules in a gymnastic room to make kids aware of movement and the consumption of energy. Very fun event with a lot of enthousiastic children.

Performance improvement. The Christmas event for the staff of the Miele Expierence centre was extended with a 36 modules big floor.

Hornall Anderson. The HAX-LAB uses our floor excisting out of 16 modules temporarily for presentations and workshop for people intrested in sustainability and architecture

Technical Universaty of Eindhoven purchased 4 of our modules for their own, presentations, workshops, and pracitcal lessons

Déjà vu. Famous 70/80 party in the Local home of the Footballteam Feyennoord. No John Travolta moves without a good dancefloor, so this time an energy providing one. We installed a floor of 48 modules and a special designed energy meter.
